Started my TT season yesterday Sat 2nd Wrekeinsport Hilly K21/18. went over a minute faster than last year with a 44:06 coming 8th over all so quite pleased. Andy Basson won it with a 41:12. I think Ill put suspenson on my TT bike as the road conditions were dread full. I gubbed ma self in the dish twice going over bumps. The hill at the end is always a laugh you just max out and sit and look at the trees as you go up.

Supposed to do the NC3 today but DNS due to cold, also came off the rollers last week and landed on my err, rear. Now very bruised, its amazing how much power you loose when you have a brusied rear!!!!!!

Was it a spectacular off at speed, or a slow speed wobble and down like a sack of spuds!

And Andy Overton wants me to ride standing to rest the butt, he is having a laugh. I think he wants me to come a cropper to slow me down on the sprints???
Hope you have not done too much damage Andy, set the camera up next time so we can have a look at the 'Slo Mo' shot, always looks impressive after ;D

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger !!!! And yes... it wouldn't hurt the rest of us if you lost a bit of power !!!! Just got my TT bike ready for tomorrow for the Port Talbot 2up 25TT. Looks like its going to be a wet and windy one ! (I have still left the 82mm fr wheel on though!!)

Well thats the first one out of the way... with snow at the side of the roads.... it wasn't looking like ideal conditions. The course was a little over 25 miles (25.4) we kept 25.1 mph average, but missed out on breaking the hour on the course and finished with a 1.00.41. We got 10th out of 44 pairings, pretty happy with that as it was the first of the season, we were quite close to the other times that beat us as well, apart from the winners, who finished in around 54.30 ! 2nd place was 58.31. Just booking the next one.... And now to start packing for Mallorca !!

I'm up for that Jack. I'm very green concerning TT's at the moment but hope to get my head and Lactate Threshold around it as the session progresses

A 9 up, sounds interesting! Get a group together and start practicing technique on the Stourport track (easier and much safer than on the road). Suggest you start on road bikes and progress to TT's when all are able to change smoothly and safely.

A nine up.... that would be interesting!!! Didn't quite do the sub hour this morning, very cold so we had full winters on, and never really got on top of the pace, did a 1.01.07 in the end. I have decided though that I think I need to tweek my saddle position. The hour will go this year!!
