Yes, I am sure a few of us from this neck of the woods could ride over and do a few laps. The cafe should be open this time as well.
The circuit races start soon, so it'll be worth doing few laps.

Yep, sure some of the Crazy Crew are up for that. Could do with a 0830 away from your place Paul as it takes us an while to get up there?

I had my first experience on the track last week on a few laps with JohnS. As it doesn't involve mountain climbing I think it will be a great place for me to gain some base fitness and work on raising my average speed. I plan to use it every weekend I can, am I correct in thinking we also have access to the track on one evening per week too ?

In planning on rolling slowly around the track on Saturday for a little bit as part of a 'leg loosener' before a RR on Sunday.

I will roll around slowly with you, I haven't got a road race, I just like the idea of rolling around slowly for an hour!

Looks like its on for Saturday morning at the track, we'll be there for around 09:15 ish.
We are highly honoured to have a special guest joining us, it looks like Jason will be making a rare apparance as well!
As an extra bonus the weather looks good and the wind won't be as wild. It sounds like a pleasant morning to do 4 laps then sit outside drinking coffee and eating cake.

Did someone mention cake? If my chest infection is better I will join you guys; be nice to see if you can do a proper echelon as some are riding in the bunch this year I was still wheezing for England Tuesday night so declined riding the TT, plus I am particularly slow at the mo so unless I was off early I may have needed lights! I see there were a lot of good rides given the conditions, be nice to see whether it will be Darbs or The Bullfighter who is the quicker in the next one. Roll on summer.

On antibiotics for a urinary tract infection (think my shorts are too tight ) but I might bimble round for a few laps just to get the legs turning after a week off the bike

I am surprised Paul hasn't mentioned his tri bars yet !!!!!!! "oh, my bars come loose at the turn !!!" "I would have gone faster if it wasn't for that" Blah Blah Blah.... whatever !! I am out Tomorrow as well so we can carry the banter on!! (Just had the start sheet for the Beacon Hilly.... four WFCRC riders off in a line right at the end !!!!!)
