Does that include climbing ladders??, if so I can that better than most , but as for climbing hills on a bike then I still need a little practice before becoming a master

Who's coming Thursday night anyway. I'm going with Lucy. Who else is coming to have a lesson in 'Mega Descending' from Richard. It is a truely amazing sight to see him in action, the line he takes around that track is hard to describe It s a good work out at the end!!!

A good coaching session last night, there must have been over 12 members from the mighty WFCRC making up over 50% of the class so a excellent turn out for the club Covered some more 'through & off' and working on 'Chaingang' technique in 4 groups. Richard must of been busy on his 'Descending Masterclasses' as I hardly saw him all night Jason L was breaking in his new bike or should I say that new seat was breaking him in, ouch Oli learnt how to crash safely on the corner and cushion the rider coming off behind him John S was in the fast group keeping on top of the pace and only dropping out when the speed went through the roof , Dave M was loving those corners and going very nicely. Dave M in fact liked the corners that much asked the coaches to cover 'cornering technique' so hopefully we will see that in the next few weeks. I think Dave is getting ready for a go on the track racing next year??? A good night overall, everyone seems happy, tired but got something out of the session. If you have not attended yet come and have a go!!!

Or he may have requested after clattering his pedal of the concrete during cornering three times

BC Coaching session 25/07/13
Oooppps sorry guys, track was double booked. I have checked the calendar ( NOW) and should be no more issues for Thursday nights. Memory, fitness and riding not what it was. (assume a vacancy for position as Secretary at the next AGM) Shame to break the BC coaching consistency but the runners booked the track well in advance. ( to be honest the bookings for this year have been a bit of a mess, I had other issues with another local cycling club and at best we have to compromise.
Nick Yarworth says he will extend the course for an additional week to make up for last night and of course the lights are working now. Thursday nights are proving very popular and great to see well supported by WF riders. Again many apologies

Let's put this into perspective John. All this years bookings were made correctly and submitted in good time to the admin at SSC that oversees all facilities. You and I double checked them with SSC and our track times were confirmed by SSC, the fact that double bookings were made later by others is not the fault of you or WFCRC. In a couple of instances I understand that SSC had already booked other users into what was our blocked time but forgot to mention this to either party until late in the day. These things happen, it's no great stress, so we should in fact say thanks to you John for all the work you put into the club. Have some cake, you'll feel better for it.

No worries on this one John, we got it covered!!! Everyone that came out with us had a good evening anyway as we took everyone on the TT course from Wednesday night. Dave M was our lead man, I would drop back and make sure everyone regroups and picked up the odd stradler. The 2 ladies did exceptionally well so well done to Jayne and Lucy, looked like they enjoyed themselves. We did have a puker, one of the young lads chucked up twice I think, must have been a good ride . Keep up the good work John, you get my vote any day of the week mate
