When riding BC regional youth events at the Stourport Circuit, there are maximum gear restrictions for all ages. The following table gives the maximum gear allowed and also some suggested chainring/sprocket combinations for 700c wheels using 23mm tyres, you can measure the distance travelled of one rotation of the pedal crank for smaller tyres. Please note that this does not apply to Go-ride racing events but it is recommended.
