Well, Dave M and I rode.
Dave did a stormer. 59:54 for his first ever 25 on an up and down course. Harder than Ryeland, but easier than Great Witley. It is St Johns worst course apparently. Find that man a quick course.
I had the curse of number 13, though I'm not at all superstitious. Bars came loose then something went twang in my left thigh when i got out of the saddle at 17 miles and I had to ease off and then decided to stop at 18 miles as the pain built. I knew I was over-trained on the Sunday run when I was hanging on like a dog to Paul and Justin, on an easy-ish day so i thought I'd stop rather than risk injury tonight. I'd done 36 minutes at 15 miles (the course has a repeating 10 mile loop, so you know precisely where the 15 mile point is) so I reckon I'd have been 60 to 90 seconds off Dave. No under the hour for me.

Find that man a quick course. Try the K33 Evesham/Bidford course. Dual carriageway, flat, bit exposed so you need a good day.
