Who is on for the Worcester St Johns CC Reliability Trial on Sunday 26th Jan?
I did find a route plan and start location on the net, but I can't locate it now!
I'll be riding.

To many hills for me I'm afraid, and still too heavy to contemplate charging up the banks. I've got a week of turbo including Jamies new torture studio! but enjoy it lads stay safe see you in a few weeks. Chris

I'll be there, will be using those descents to try and get back on no doubt None of those descents are long enough to close a 25 minute gap!

Its a hilly route, I can't see it staying together as one large group.
Just remember it a reliability race trial!

HQ is Worcester Auto Club, Droitwich Road, Worcester, WR3 7SN Gutted won't be able to ride this weekend as it is Zach's 4th birthday on sunday so will be entertaining 20 or so screaming kids instead The route used is a tough one. Follows road from Worcester to Great Witley, up over Habberley to Tenbury. Then left over bridge and left again once through the town and comes back on the B4204 from Tenbury with a few big climbs up to the top of Stanford Bank and down Clifton Bank to Martley before heading back to Worcester through Lower Broadheath. The climb out of Tenbury touches 19% is places

The climb out of Tenbury touches 19% is places I think the route is different this year, the WSJCC route link to Garmin Connect is showing it heading out of Worcester, over bridge at Holt Fleet, along the Pearl Lane circuit towards Stourport, up to the Hundred House, over Abberley down to Stamford Bridge, up Stamford Bank, Left to Clifton, down Clifton Bank. On to Martley, Lower Broadheath, Hallow, back over the bridge at Holt Fleet then back to Worcester. Maybe that climb out of Tenbury cooked too many people in previous years!

I'm sure Stamford Bank will do just the same

Absolutely agree! Its a while since I've been up there, I prefer Clifton. There is also plenty of climbing before it gets to that point!
I hope the weather is OK. The long range forecast is showing rain overnight Friday, showers on Saturday then clear on Saturday night into Sunday... but that's a long way off yet.

James - I think you are remembering the Green Cycles ride that ran for a couple of years or was it the Malvern shop's run?
The St Johns course is same as usual. Last time I rode it everything stayed together until the dig after 100 House that broke the pack and then it was full on blood in mouth time up Stamford Bank.
HQ is an unassuming building next to bowling alley (Bowling Xtreme?)/close to private leisure centre at Perdiswell.

So the question is how fast is this rain going to come across from the west on Sunday? XCWeather are saying its going to be at its heaviest between 0600 and 1200!

What is start time? I don't use Facebook, so can't follow link. St John's website is >1 year out of date!
