Sunday 25th November saw the start of the proposed 3 level runs from Stourport Sports Club. The torrential overnight rain had given way to a glorious sunny morning but with the threat of further rain later maybe deterred more from coming out. However, the new C 'Easyriders' group left just after 9.00 with Richard Pedersen (Scoop) in charge, and the main club run departing just afterwards - there were too few for both an A and B so they merged, all being of similar fitness. I joined Scoops ride as I was coming out of a fortnights cold; not just any cold mind you, mine was the dreaded 'Man Flu'; so I had been off the bike for 2 weeks. We had a really nice steady jaunt into the lanes, through a few flooded bits, then returned home after I guess an hour and a half. This is just what newcomers will need and as long as folk come suitably attired and bike prepared for the winter time then it's a great starter for the less fit, so lets hope this will grow as the weeks pass. Non members always welcome to come along and try the rides out.
