Dust the TT bike off ? Reasons not to. 1. I think the top tube may have given way under the weight of years of accumulated dust. 2. It is very dangerous to ride a bike you are unfamiliar with. 3. Before trying to ride at an average speed over 15mph at your age, consult your doctor.

The K33/10 appears on the schedule 2 times before this event so you could really get some practice and blow off all that dust before this one!

(This will be interesting, as I did 22:37 at this same event in 2013, so I am keen to see how things have changed especially having a power meter)

Oh I am sure things will have changed alright and as your inspirational guru I am here to help and encourage you. 1 Remember you are 2 years older now so the warm up on the rollers may be enough for the day
2 Please calibrate your power meter to +50 watts before leaving the car park.
3 When you get up on the morning of the event its pants on first then trousers, you are not superman.
4 Have your excuses ready if you make it back to the HQ, dust in my eyes etc.
5 Make sure your rear light is working, and if your start time is after 4.30pm make sure the front one is working.
