The WFCRC youth were out racing in the West Midlands regional races this weekend, On Saturday at Lichfield's Curborough circuit in a heavily contested under 12's race, with a couple of mass crashes, Aimee Lane did well finishing in 2nd place in the Girls category, with Charlie Boddice overcame being held up in one of the crashes and eventually came in 13th in the Boys race.
Sunday saw the team head off to the Sundorne circuit at Shrewsbury . In a fast and furious race in quite windy conditions Aimee Lane secured another 1st place win in the Girls u12's , Ben Lawrence was always in contention for a podium finish, just missing out by coming in 4th place in the U12 Boys . Oliver Bill competed in a very fast u16 race with race tactics and team tactics coming to the fore , finishing mid pack in the sprint finish .
Another good weekend for our youth team.
