I have to come over to the Sports Club this week, so I am trying to make it on Thursday to get onto the circuit and catch up with some of the new members.

Fingers crossed i will try and be there Thursday! However i did the wolfrun on Sunday (a 10km obstacle run) and twisted my ankle and to make matters worst this week i purchased my first pair of clipless pedals so i need to get use to those and try not to fall off on route from my house to the track, going through several traffic lights......

I purchased my first pair of clipless pedals so i need to get use to those and try not to fall off on route from my house to the track, going through several traffic lights...... Don't worry, we've all been there! I recall lying on the road at the Land Oak traffic lights on the A456 in 1991, being helped to unclip from my bike by the guy in the car waiting behind me at the lights. Shimano SPD pedals had just been released, and I hadn't worked out yet that the tension on the release spring was adjustable, it was wound up fully so I clipped in, left my house, got 100 yards and was on the deck. I could only just get my feet out of the pedals when I was lay on the floor with the car driver holding my bike! See you tomorrow at the circuit.

Foot is still not right, so doubtful i will try my luck with the clipless pedals but instead just use my current flat pedals and come up for a gentle ride....

Ok i'll bring my shoes and pedals up in a bag with me, and see how my foot is on the ride up to the track. If its fine, then if people want to they can help me set them up etc
