Just checked, you can enter on the day, 42 and 68mile rides 9am start from the shop. May have a crack at this or the Redditch reliability, probably decide Sat night. www.echelon-cycles.co.uk/index.html

I'd have liked to do the Echelon ride, but it's my daughters birthday party, so it's a no go unfortunately. At least my chest is back to normal though!

Good little ride that, most enjoyable. Not sure how I came to be sat on the front for most of the first 15 miles though!! Got tailed off up Hollybush but rejoined in Ledbury before the elastic finally snapped up Wellington Heath. Picked up riders over the next 30 odd miles and finished in a group of 6 or 7.

Well done David. I didn't ride today as I woke up with an awful headache which lasted till late pm and combined with the cold weather I just couldn't face being out there. Next wk/end I'm doing the first local sportive of the year, Paul's (Prince) Mad March Hare so hope it is going to warm up a bit. Last year I awoke to find it snowing hard (up here at Far Forest) so missed it, but some lunatics did go out to enjoy the event .

Yeah I was one that escaped from the asylum last year! Remember riding up what seemed like a river in a blizzard at one point and questioning my sanity!
