BEACON RCC’S SUNRISE AND SNOWDROP EXPRESS AUDAXES:
20th FEBRUARY 2016, FROM WHITLENGE, NORTH WORCESTERSHIRE
This an invitation for you to enter the 2016 Sunrise and Snowdrop Express – an audax ride around Worcestershire passing through Upton Upon Severn and Evesham via many country lanes. -The Sunrise goes clockwise and the Snowdrop goes anticlockwise.
The events:
This event attracts up to 280 entrants each year and is usually sold-out well before Christmas. The event is very popular with independent riders those from the busy local clubs. It has become widely regarded as an excellent event to start-off the new season. Some seek to ride the route in the minimum possible time whilst others seek a ‘full value ride’ – taking in the country air at a more leisurely pace. Either way, it is usually a rewarding day.
The event starts and finishes at Whitlenge Garden Centre, where participants can purchase a breakfast before they start and receive a voucher for free food upon completion. En-route, Evesham Rapheals is a popular cyclists’ destination along with our usual little café in Upton-Upon-Severn.
