Just seen that on October the 2nd 2016 there's an event being held at Silverstone.
I was wondering if there would be any interest in a outing for this?
As you can see from the above there is something for everyone no matter what the ability or age.

Join us on 2nd October 2016 and be part of an amazing day filled with cycling, fun, and plenty of entertainment.
This incredible events gives riders of all ages and abilities the rare opportunity to pit themselves against the clock and find out what it is like to race at the home of British Grand Prix.
We are delighted to be supported by Team Sky and British Cycling. Cyclists from Team Sky will be laying down lap times in advance and there will be a number of high profile sportspeople and celebrities doing the same in the coming months – will you be faster than the professionals, can you leave other cyclists and celebrities eating your dust?
3 Mile CHALLENGE £35
3.6 miles – you against the clock, and the chance to cycle this iconic venue taking on the twists and turns at your own speed!
10 Mile CHALLENGE £45
With a distance of 10 miles exactly, this TT length challenge gives you the chance to pit yourself against riders from across the country.
25 Mile CHALLENGE £55
The ultimate challenge – test yourself over 36.6 miles of Silverstone track, an endurance challenge for those who wish to test their stamina!
25 Mile TEAM CHALLENGE £140
Unisex teams of 4 can take on the 10 lap challenge – this is no relay, but will need team spirit to reach the end together!
F1 – 1 LAP FAMILY EVENT £35
The opportunity for children aged between 5 -15 to cycle the Silverstone circuit accompanied by an adult. Comic book characters will be on hand to help them along and hand out refreshments en route! All children will receive a medal and a t-shirt for taking part in the event.
LEISURE RIDE £35
The Leisure Ride adds another dimension to the day and provides yet another opportunity for cyclists of all abilities to take in this world famous circuit.
Open to over 12’s and above the Leisure Ride is the perfect way for groups of friends and families to get the most out of the day. Riders will have two hours in which to tackle the course at whatever pace they like, and complete as many or as few laps as they chose. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or you’ve only just got your stabilisers off, the Leisure Ride allows you to experience Silverstone at your own pace and really get to know each and every corner.
RETAIL VILLAGE
There will be a host of exhibitors with stands in our retail village, as well as interactive experiences for adults and children alike! Keep checking back here for more news and information over the coming months!
