Cervelo R5 VWD (Vroomen White Design) complete bike - 2012 frame. Size 58cm. Brand new Shimano Ultegra groupset, Rotor chainset, Mavic Aksium wheel & tyre set, FI'ZI:K saddle and FSA finishing kit. Excellent condition.
I've owned the frame on this bike since buying it new in early 2013. Since then it's been used as my "best" (Summer) bike only, and it's clocked up a total of just 2076 fair weather miles according to my Garmin. It's never been crashed or raced and is in excellent condition. Indeed, I am incredibly precious with my kit, and this bike has been looked after to the point of obsession! Please note that:
I'm only selling this bike as I very recently purchased a new complete R5 Ultegra bike, and transferred all of the kit that was on this frame to the new frame, and all of the kit that came with the new bike to this frame. This bike has been professionally rebuilt by Tri UK in Yeovil, and consequently everything on this bike for sale is brand new and never ridden apart from the frame and fork. The shifters still have their protective tape on, and the FSA carbon seat post has only been inserted minimally to avoid marking it.
This is the frame that many of the Garmin-Sharp team rode in the 2012 Tour de France, and nothing's fundamentally changed in the subsequent versions of the frame apart from internal cable routing, increased clearance for wider tyres and the paint job. The new 2016 version of this bike would cost you £3899, and the frameset alone is still £3500 (as it was in 2012).
This is a special bike, and a great ride (stiff, precise and ultra responsive), made for climbing.
Please see the table below listing all of the components on the bike and an absolutely honest appraisal of their condition etc. (click on all images to see them larger):
You are very welcome to view and/or collect from Bewdley. Please don't hesitate to contact me (Matt) directly by text/phone (07795 182028) for any further details or pictures etc.
£2200 o.n.o.

- The frame has been cleaned and polished after virtually every ride.
- When brand new I applied carbon effect protector tape to the underside of the down tube, behind the bottom bracket and under the fork crown to avoid chips/scratches to the paintwork. All potential cable rub spots are also protected with clear protector stickers.
- The fork was replaced direct from Cervelo in Canada in June 2015, after a bike fit identified that I was getting old and needed more spacers than the old fork could accommodate. Having done only approx. 450 miles since, the fork's still in near perfect condition.
