Eeny, meeny, miny,.....DOH! Having retrieved a £20 note that flew out of my pocket when I reached for a banana (I must ask for a wallet for Christmas!), I reached a point at Eastnor where I had to guess which way you'd gone...guess I picked incorrectly Carried on to clock up a slow 100 miles - not bad given the horrible rain that hit at 10:00

Eastnor Andy, you were miles away. When we got to Elmley castle we waited for 5 mins then headed off, thought you'd gone to Evesham. We all bailed after the rain and headed home, a general lack of gear changing with everyone's hands numb. But nice one on the hardcore 100, very tough conditions again

Oops - meant Elmley - I turned too early I reckon - the usual route to Broadway, changed my mind and must have just missed you by the time I went up to Emley
That rain was blooming freezing - I almost bailed, but started to feel fingers again, so pushed on to Tewkesbury, Ledbury etc.
Got soaked again just as I got to Worcester on way home for good measure.

That's good miles in that weather, fair play bud!

Bloody hell, 100 miles today, fair play. We struggled with a 30 mile lap of Bredon. We did wait at Elmley Castle, in fact we turned around and came back to find you.
Then the wind picked up, the hail became horizontal and we got wetter and wetter. Today was the definition of 'there is no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing'. We set off in sunshine, so while I was warm, I wasn't watertight!
It's a long time since I have lost the feeling in my hands on my bike, today wasn't fun. At one point I would have given anything to be in my garage sweating on the turbo!
Justin, sorry for dragging you out... I made the wrong call.

Glad you guys found it horrible too - I thought I'd gone soft. It really was perishing. a '£50' day I reckon.
In a pique of 'all or nothing' I went in full on TT mode on road to Broadway to catch you - probably (definitely) stupid as I reckon I'd have seen you if I'd turned back sooner.
I'm very glad I had a cape in my pocket this morning.

We will be out in the morning for a loop around Bredon, down to Tewksbury, Longdon, Upton then home.
The weather looks like it will be a lot better than last week turned out to be! Cold, sunny and light winds.

50/50 - Depends on weather. Forecast seems to indicate similar conditions to last week, which were dicey - soaked roads turning to ice. I'll get up and see in the morning. Might have to do my first turbo ride of the winter

Too dodgy this morning, did 2hrs on the turbo. The Liege-Bastogne-Liege DVD was excellent. I got dropped on La Redoute and had to chase hard, didn't save enough in the tank on Saturday for today. First time I`ve been dropped by a training DVD

I'm out with my mate for a steady ride today.
I'm out next week, if others are.

Good ride this morning, a bit of pace and a lot of headwind! Even a few sprints for the 30 limit signs.
Not long until the season kicks off now!
