On Sunday 2nd October we are co-organising the Shelsley Walsh Cycling Hill Climb and Cyclo-cross event held at the Shelsey Walsh motor hill climb course. This is the third time an open cycling event has taken place at this venue, last year went extremely well, and we are hoping for another great event this year. Plus we have now added a round of the Midlands Cyclo-Cross league being held at the same time. The whole event is being co-promoted between us and Worcester St Johns CC.
We need as many people as possible to assist, mainly for marshals, starting at around 09:00 until mid afternoon. We understand that being there for the full period may not be possible for some people, hence if you can even make a couple of hours that would be extremely helpful, as we can rotate the roles.
Members who help out for the full event will get paid a lunch allowance to enable them to have a break and food in the Stratstone Cafe on site.
The Stratstone restaurant café on site will be open for the whole event for tea. Coffee, cakes, lunch etc.
Please let me know if you are able to help out by dropping me an email at paul@peopleton.net or reply to this thread here.
Many thanks
Paul

I will be there mate, it shouldn`t be a difficult day as long as we get the usual good response from the club. This is a great family friendly event to be involved in. Remember as a marshall you get up close to some great racing and a free lunch at the Stratstone Café, what a bonus. See you all there. Paul G
