Hi Everyone, The Interclub battle commences again next Wednesday at Ryeland Lane at 1900. We took the other clubs by surprise last year in our 1st year of riding this series but they will want revenge this year so we need big numbers from the club at our home course. Teams involved this year are; WFCRC (Current Champions) Worcester St.Johns CC VCSevale Evesham Wheelers Next years competition may include Bromgrove and Beacon RC so it is becoming a big event. Points are scores for the first 6 fastest riders riders from each club entered into a league table for the night from 24 to 1 points. Each club has a chosen course, all points are accumulated to decide the overall Interclub Champion after all events are completed. If you intend to ride the Interclub TT and are not a member of the above clubs this is not a problem, just turn up and ride as normal. Tough course for tough riders, see you on Wednesday night with your club strips on.........................Let the Interclub battle commence

I'll be there and riding for WFCRC (as I will be all TTs this season), although I very much doubt my time will be a counting time. I will however be on hand to give big shout outs to fellow WFCRC riders and hope the club can retain the championship! Jan

I am getting the hoover out as we speak, there is a lot of dust to remove from my TT bike! I may even lube my chain for the event.

Yes, Lucy is onto it, however I have suggested that we keep sign on location and the TT route as normal, and just ride the longer way around to the start past Whitlenge Gardens.
Watch this space!!

UPDATE - We have had our reconnaissance team out (Brian Clarke), and it appears that the closure has been lifted and the road is now open!
They must have known this very important event is on, and nothing should affect it!

Turned out to be a rain-free event on dry roads, a little breezy but the wind dropped and wasn't as bad as it had been all day, I have certainly ridden Ryeland Lane in much windier conditions!
As it turned out the majority of the riders were from WFCRC, and we posted some great times, which means we are off to a good start in the 2015 Interclub TT championship. Full positions from Round 1 will be released as soon as they are available.
Thanks very much to the timekeepers and marshals for their time and making the event happen, it is appreciated.
