Good training session this morning, chilly as normal. Kinnersley, Defford, Bredon and a circuit of the hill, Pershore and back. Nice ride with a few rays. I finished but Andy rode on and did another hour? Paul missed out on our ride but I see mate you had a stormer looking at Strava Seems the Wyre Forest lads have claimed a few more KOM's in the Southern Division on Strava. Let them have it!!!

Yep, I got out for an hour late morning, it was a bit wierd, although I was tired after being up half the night, I think it was just wanting to go as hard as I could until I could go no more!
Interestingly, looking at Strava I am matching the times now that I was doing at the mid to end of the race season last year. We'll see what this year brings.
I am living in the murky world of lactate threshold this year, so there should be some difference! (there had better be otherwise there will be some bikes going on eBay!)

Well it will hopefully be a good season, we are certainly pushing each other along. I think Andy P is inspired and upping the fitness push. All good stuff. Total for March for me in the saddle - 70hrs - 1323miles. I'm fast-tracking my cycling, Santinin 100 miler tomorrow with plenty of climbing , yippee. Oh I do love a good hill

Good ride, thanks Justin. I did about an extra 90 minutes to hit my time in the saddle target. Have a good one tomorrow.
I think I'm inspired to train a bit just to try to keep up with Project X (Justin, WFCRCs 2013 secret weapon). As I've said, never seen such a strong new rider.

I should be out on Sunday. I'm happy to stay local or zip over early to SSC and hook up with others. I'd like to be back at a reasonable time, so probably wouldn't do a cafe stop (unless bonking!).

Jack, both me and Andy P would love to watch the 'General' kick some butt but if we don't train he will be kicking ours . I have him on the ropes at the moment with a steady sprint so need to keep him there. Hope he has not eaten any Boulders this week with the big climb at the end??? Out Sunday 9.00am from Littleworth if anyone is in the area.

I have him on the ropes at the moment with a steady sprint so need to keep him there. On the ropes... I like it, I will work on the sprint until I have turned it into a headlock with body slam! (The refernce to body slam doesn't mean us clipping wheels and ending up cartwheeling thruogh the hedge!)

But I'm just warming up 'General'. Plenty left in my 'Sprint box of tricks'!!! I will be coming from behind, sideways through the hedge and straight at you. You may do me on the climbs but the national speed limit signs are mine . Remember that is 1555 peak watts flying past you for the line. Good steady ride today, hope I warmed you up for tomorrow. Hope it goes to plan. Lucy ride was exceptional, not only did she crack the 50 miles but up to 62 miles. Average speed a highly respectable 17mph with no stops she is very pleased. Talking her around to get going on the Club TT's Again the very best of British to you tomorrow.
