Good conditions last night, not many of the regulars riding and not a huge turn out from TRiKS. Good night though, people seemed fairly happy with their times.

At last I have a TT bike and a real bargain from Ebay. As close to new as they come, seams still on the tyres. Hopefully I will have the legs tomorrow to give it a bash after the track tonight Now time to get my head down and put it to good use!!! Even matches our Club kit, getting Blinged up or what I did have to take the red stickeres of my FSA rims though

just to be clear, if the bike hadn't matched the colour of the club kit you would have had to take it back and asked for a refund!

Of course, are you crazy or what. I know the rules, pedal fast, no sudden movements in the bunch and look good!!! What you have to understand Paul that unlike your young, soft, natural looking appearance I have to work hrs at looking alright on a bike. I even sit down with you guys for a coffee, the lady across the way cannot take her eyes of Andy O and Dave M legs. She did not even blink at my feeble muscle-less features. It is what I have to do to look anywhere near as good as you guys, I must try harder And yes despite driving 165 miles, if it did not match the kit I would have drove off like a shot. I think the lady wondered what I was doing when I was holding up my club Jersey against the Top Tube??? Checking the colour matched, this is very important I know the rules and if I didn't I'm sure you would have pointed them out for me. Anyway I'm bored of black, time to broaden my horizon a bit, don't want to look like a ninja I will see you later on the track

No secrets mate, I brought the same as Dave M. Giant Trinty, guy had used it once for a Triathlon. Brand new as they come I think, £750.00. I did have to travel over to Bury St.Eds on Monday after work but well worth it. I rode to work this morning after doing a few adjustments late last night and it flys. Goes up those climbs like lightning so hopefully good for Ryeland Lane. Felt comfortable this morning, just a few adjustments on the seat height should give me a bit more power. Did not want to just turn up at the Club TT and go for it, not a great idea I think. Really looking forward to using it. And yes it does match our club colours which is a added bonus

Cheers Justin
Really pleased with the ride last night, apart from the rain the conditions were fab. I just don't know how I'm ever going to get under 35 mins because I gave it everything last night and some.
The new TT bike looks great mate, I'm really pleased with mine and most importantly it matches the club kit perfectly making it the perfect bargain. The only complaint is the single bolt seat post, would like to find out if a Giant carbon seat post fits the alloy frame as I believe this has two bolts.
Anyway back to the TURBO!!!!!!!

Well Andy that's what I'm working on, thought I had scrapped it last time but just 4 seconds over. But it need to be a good 23.?? Would have liked to have done Wednesday night but just too much to do for going away today Looks like Lucy has beat me to her 'Blink' bike. She has been after a Pinarello FT1 on EBay. Again steel of a price, we are looking at it this evening on e way down to the ferry. Let you know how she gets on, not too many people in the market for a 49cm frame Dave, put my sticker less FSA's on the Trinity, looks real mean now but goes really well. Shame I can't ride her the next 2 weeks. I know what you mean about the seat assembly, will see what I can find out. I've taken all the spacers out of the stem, aero bars as tight together as they will go, might as well set it up as tight as I can and get used to it. It is certainly faster than my Boardman Road bike just from the off. Be sweet once I get used to it, seems to fly up those small climbs!!!

I just didn't want you to catch me, Justin! Couldn't believe my luck having you and Dave M starting directly behind me.
Battering on Sunday? Nothing new there then! I need a route devoid of road signs.
