My neighbour used to have a dog that did this as well Yes, but what the Turkish public couldn't understand is why Justin was barking while he chased the minibus!

I'll be riding over, so keep me posted on plans. Not sure I could get to Paul's for 0730. It takes me a good sixty minutes to wake up and have porridge then espresso before our runs on a Sunday! 0900 is a struggle some weeks I may ride over directly, as it is just under 60 mins from mine door to door, or hook up with you at Andy's.

I am struggling with being on the road at 0730 as well!
The weather forecast isn't great, either. As you can probably tell I am not revved up for it!

Come on man dig deep, you know what sort of mood Wonga will be in after his mini bus chasing exploits, we need all the help we can get. By the way, I got no mudguards yet, am I allowed out to play this week?

I am not out with the northern division, an 0730 start means my wife has to get up at the same time to entertain Hannah. I manage to get away with enough time on the bike, without upsetting the apple cart! Plus the weather forecast isn't worth getting excited about.
I'll be out later and try to work it so I end up at the cafe at the same time as the gang.
If its hammering down I am going to stay in and eat sausages.

Despite the nasty weather a really good turn out for the club run from SSC this morning. A really big well done to John Smith who managed to hang on to the café stop despite the relentless pace being set by Andy O. John hung on until the departure from Worcester heading towards Hallow sad Shrawley where the pace was manageable until Super Shaun and Yellow socks decided to attack on the last climb and run into Stourport.
Thanks to everyone for their support today especially the southern division guys.

I went out for 2 1/2 hours and got absolutely drenched. I thought the rain might hold off... It didn't.
The first half hour was OK, then the heavens opened when I was in Tewkesbury, I thought it might ease off, so I carried on round towards Evesham but it got heavier, I lost the feeling in my feet!

It was a good ride Dave... You were just as much to blame for the pace though!! A tad wet.... and it was a struggle to get back outside after the cafe stop!! But great turnout and great company considering the weather... a big shout out to Smithy... big effort there chap!! I think the Southern boys are re grouping this weekend after holidays/racing in France/injurys, so if anybody wants to come over to us for a "gentle" spin let us know!!

This Sundays club run from SSC starting at 09.00 is heading to RAF Cosford via Kinver, Bobbington and Albrighton. I shall call Cosford and check that the café is open on Sunday, if it's closed there is a café at a garden centre in Albrighton. The ride will be approx. 60 miles. Hopefully another good turn out and some better weather!!!

You've got to have Thick Toast at the Spider's Web Cafe at Cosford - Cycling folklore/tradition. It is extra thick and comes with very generous quantities of melting butter.

Just the thought of that with a mug of coffee will get me there.
