A word of warning for those of you out tomorrow. Justin is planning to be out, with his new rear mudguard.
If you are on his wheel, you'll get more shelter behind it than draughting a transit van. In fact if anybody punctures you won't need to repair it, you can sit on the mudguard (along with a few other people) and get a lift home.
We went out this morning, when Justin came past it took longer for his mudguard to pass me than the rest of his bike. I even had to check all of my guttering was in place when I got home as I was certain I had been staring at some of it for the past hour.

Love it. I've just taken my mudguards off, so that I can sit on the back tomorrow for fear of splashing people

Sit at the back with me mate, we can leave captain drainpipe on the front, from what Darbs says it will be like be like draughting a truck

Oh this is certainly reassuring!! With a question mark over current fitness at least I know I've got somewhere comfy and dry to sit if I need a lift home!!

There will be a ride going from SSC this Sunday at 09.00 with a café stop at Pershore. Hoping for another good turnout following the good numbers seen over the last few weeks.

Another good turnout from SSC, led by Dave M today. Beat the weather! Look forward to seeing everyone at the presentation night next week. Cheers.

A big thanks to everyone who turned up and supported the club ride this morning as Dave Hemming said, good turnout, good route, good company and a cream tea. It doesn't get much better!! It was good to see the return of John Clark to the club run, who despite his lack of training was going really well. I'm sure it wont be long before he's showing us up on the climbs. But it was Old Yellow Socks who took the final honours of the day closely followed by a charging Super Shaun.

Hi I'm looking to join a cycle club... I was looking for a slower ride to begin with but I can't see anything current on the other threads... Could I come along and if I can't keep up bail?! Chris
I thought I'd also ask if there is a difference between the saturday and sunday.. maybe one is more suited for a newbie

This Sunday we shall be leaving SSC at 08.00 prompt to ride and meet the southern division and then ride on to Stow. Anyone who doesn't fancy riding that early from SSC can drive to the southern division meeting point and can join the ride from there at approximately 09.15. Anyone considering this can get meeting point details via the forum from Andy O, Justin waters or myself.

I'm out Sunday. Let me know where/when for the southern ride start. Paul's/Flooring place/other?

Hi Andy, I think the plan is Paul's for 9.00 or the flooring place at 9.15. Not heard of Paul yet, but I assume he will confirm what he is doing on Saturday night! ?

Okay, I'll get to Paul's for 0900.
Have a good night tonight all - dissapointed I couldn't find someone to 'sit' for my lads. I'll have a couple of beers in solidarity here.
