I think we should do figure-of-eights and do the Malverns via every route up, so I think that is 6 ways. We could even ride up to the beacon, but leaving at 0930 we might hit all the dog-walkers.
See you at 0930. Strange to have a lie-in.

Storming club run today. We left Worcester town centre with 25 riders of varied abilities. Some flat stuff before the Malverns which we tackled a few different, coffee at the kettle sings and the Hollybush, Longdon and back to Worcester through Kempsey. Really good run with everyone working their socks off, we reassembled at the tops of climbs. So good stuff today, hopefully we showed a couple of new potential members what the Wyre Forest is all about

Anybody out this Sunday (27 July) for a fast-ish couple of hours? I am sure we can fit a coffee and a cake in somewhere as well.
We could meet in Worcester at 09:30 if that helps anyone, I am fairly easy on the plan.

I'm out gaffer.
We will be taking a look at the Castlemortom and Bredon Hill TT circuit that feature in the Interclub event over the next 3 weeks so if you intend to represent the club come out for a look.

Hi Andy, good to hear from you! I am not out, the problem with my right leg from before the Alps is worse now, so I am keeping off the bike this week until the osteopath has got a plan, 10 miles feels like 50. I can put short burst of power down, but steady tempo is hard, continuing riding isn't making it any better, I am fed up with it. Not sure what the other guys are up to tomorrow.

Hi Paul, sorry to hear that. Take it easy and rest.
I picked up a niggle after the Alps - busy at work so squeezed in some running to keep me sane and got a groin strain. Really annoying as the power meter was showing the week of steady climbing had had a great effect. After riding a couple of TTs and having to back right off I had to bite the bullet and take 3 weeks off completely. Missed the TTs I'd been building up to.
The forum seems to have gone quiet as a place to organise rides. I've lost track with who is riding and when/where

The forum seems to have gone quiet as a place to organise rides. I've lost track with who is riding and when/where Yes, I think people have been racing, holidays, injured etc. It should pick up pace again now that the season is coming to an end, a few coffee and cake rides should be on the cards. As long as we all post on here when we are out it will soon get revved up again.

Southern Div are out Sunday morning, 0820 away from Littleworth or 0900 from Peopleton. Hopefully the weather is ok, may be a cafe stop depending on what people want to do, a varied ride with mixed pace and some reasonable chaingang through and off would be good fun. No doubt the WFCRC train always puts in a appearance on a Sunday morning. Out for approx 3ish hours and as the Americans say 'no one gets left behind'

Its the Stourbridge CC reliability on Sunday, but its a long trek for many of the WFCRC Southern Division, so we will be out from Peopleton at 09:00 for 50 - 60 miles or so.
There is even a rumour that Jason may be out! (Although he hasn't had chance to get many miles in lately so he is allowed to sit on the wheels)

Great ride today down to Gloucester airport cafe, even though Jasons' bike tried to destroy itself. Plenty of banter and another taxi home!
